The Tri-State HRMA Workforce Readiness Committee has been identifying opportunities to support our initiative, one of which is partnering with the regional academic communities. Below is information from Camden County College on a grant paid Basic Skills Workforce Training Program which includes Basic Communications, Basic Math, English as a Second Language and Introduction to Computers.  This is an incredible offering, but please note, you need to participate by June 30, 2008.  Please call Carol McCormick or Terri Campagna at the college for more information on this opportunity.   Working together to help our kids and adults in creating a better and productive workforce!

Tri State Spring 2008 Study Group SurveyUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).

Planning to become certified as SPHR, PHR, or GPHR in May, 2008???

Time is ticking, and the HRCI committee members are currently planning the schedule for our Spring Study Group! I think our past participants would agree that the Study Group was well worth their time and helped them not only to prepare for the exam, but to enjoy their journey in the process!

This service is sponsored by Tri-State free of charge to its members to help advance the profession (ATP) and serve our professionals (STP), offering a designated time and place to meet with your peers.

We invite all members preparing for certification this Spring to come and collaborate in a comfortable, quiet environment, away from the many distractions of everyday life! Take time to invest in yourself while sharing the fellowship of others through open discussions about the preparation process.

While this is not a facilitated course, you will have an opportunity to review and discuss preparation materials, ask questions, receive guidance, and drill each other with practice tests.

The first Spring meeting is planned for Tuesday, February 12th from 6 – 9 pm.

For further information, please contact HRCI Co-Chairs, Debbie Deissroth, SPHR at debbie.deissroth@comcast.net  or Teresa Sulit, PHR at teresasulit@comcast.net
