Tr-State Fall 2009 Study Group Meeting: Sept. 22, 2009Use SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).

Planning to become certified as PHR or  SPHR during the Fall 2009 certification window???

It’s never too late!  HRCI committee members are currently planning the schedule for our Fall Study Group!  Past participants agree that the Study Group is well worth their time and assisted them in not only preparing for the exam, but also enjoying the journey in the process!

Stacey Farner Eidell, PHR, a Spring 2009 Study Group participant says, Without the continued support and encouragement of the study group I do not think I would have the coveted “PHR” behind my name right now.  From the first meeting it is evident that everyone from Tri State is there for one reason – my success.”

The Study Group is sponsored by Tri-State as a member benefit to help serve the professional (STP) and advance the profession (ATP) while offering a designated time and place to meet with peers.

We invite all Tri-State members preparing for certification to come and collaborate in a comfortable, quiet environment, away from the many distractions of everyday life!  Take time to invest in yourself while sharing the fellowship of others through open discussions about the preparation process.  While this is not a facilitated course, you will have an opportunity to review and discuss preparation materials, ask questions, receive guidance, and drill each other with weekly practice tests.  In addition, a co-chair will conduct drills during the sessions to help you prepare for the test.

The first Fall Study Group meeting is planned for Tuesday, September 22 from 6 – 9 pm at a location to be determined.

For further information, please contact:

HRCI Chair, Carla Wilson, PHR at carlawilsonphr@gmail.com  or

HRCI Co-Chair, John Garofalo, SPHR at johngarofalo1@comcast.net  .
